We have all of these scientists and doctors telling us everything we need to know about this virus , more than we need to know actually , but nothing about the faltering economy and where it could be in a month , 3 months , or longer.

No one knows that any more than they know what the future (in months & years) death toll of this virus will be, with or without the extreme measures that are being taken. Maybe check & see what Nostradamus, fortune tellers & their cousins the economists have to say ; jk.

If you disagree with the measures being taken, what exactly would you have done? Sacrifice lives? How do you know your alternate plan would have worked out any better for the economy in the long term than the expert's advice that is being followed? Please provide in detail (1000 words or more) what you would have done differently, or would do from this point onward?

Since this has been officially declared a national emergency, this
makes the federal government in charge of everything. This means
tests, ventilators, supplies, and personnel. One should expect by
now that tests and their results should be available to everyone
(didn’t someone promise this?). It means that unused ventilators should
be procured and moved into areas where they are urgently needed and
quickly moved out when not needed. It also means the same for
supplies and medical personnel. Where there are shortages, then
production or procurement should be increased quickly. In addition,
National orders to minimize the spread should be adopted. We had
months of warnings before today to accomplish much if not all of this.
the info and science was there. The talent to organize this was at our
disposal. I wonder why much of this wasn’t implemented in a timely
fashion? Now we have a scenario where more lives will be lost or disrupted
and damage to the economy will go from bad to devastating due to
inaction, misstatements, and lack of leadership. Besides that, the government
is doing a great job.
